Local Tacey Apisa, a good friend within our co-housing community opened with folk cover tunes. A good friend of ours, Bill Isles, took us on a poetic storytelling journey reminding us to love life, from the simple to the extraordinaire. Tom and I have spent quite a bit of time with Bill and are always amazed at how freely spirit flows through his songs. We had been hoping that Bill’s wife, Kate would be able to accompany him. When it turned out that she couldn’t, one of our concert fans, Diana Parks, took time to learn a few of Bill’s duets. Those two brought the room to dead silence, one of those unforgettable moments we all live for.
